The Challenge
Pannone, a leading Manchester-based law firm, had a suite of client-facing documents that had evolved over time but lacked brand consistency. Internal teams were using a mix of templates, resulting in inconsistent formatting, inefficiencies, and materials that didn’t fully reflect the firm’s professional image.
Internal teams lacked a unified, high-quality image resource. The result? Diluted messaging, and a brand experience that didn’t live up to the firm’s reputation for attention to detail and local presence.

The Solution
Epigram worked closely with the Pannone team to conduct a comprehensive brand and document audit, identifying key areas for improvement. We Refreshed their entire document suite to align with the firm’s updated brand identity, created consistent, easy-to-use templates for reports, client communications and marketing collateral, we implemented design refinements that elevated the professional look and feel of all materials and provided guidance and training to ensure internal teams could seamlessly adopt the new templates.
Working collaboratively, we established an image strategy focused on:
- Hero Imagery: Abstract, macro photography showcasing texture and detail – echoing the brand idea that “a little detail goes a long way”. These images created standout moments in key marketing and communications materials.
- Supporting Imagery: Curated London-themed photography capturing local architecture, cityscapes, and bespoke details from within Russell-Cooke’s own offices – from Georgian staircases to rooftop beehives. The imagery reinforced the firm’s personality and sense of place.
- System and Structure: We categorised images into Hero and Supporting tiers, providing clear usage guidance for internal teams. This ensured flexibility across formats, from brochures to digital content, while maintaining brand cohesion.

The Result
We created a cohesive and polished visual identity across all client-facing materials. This not only strengthened the firm’s brand perception among clients and stakeholders but also reduced the time fee earners and support staff spent manually formatting documents, allowing them to focus on higher-value tasks.
The result is a flexible, authentic visual identity that mirrors the firm’s ethos: expert, approachable, and firmly embedded in the city it serves.
